DLS sets standards with mobile office program: Employees explore the world and strengthen their skills

We are proud to pre­sent our Mo­bi­le Of­fice Pro­gram, which has been a spe­cial be­ne­fit for our em­ployees sin­ce 2022. This ex­cep­tio­nal pro­gram­me en­ables our team mem­bers to broa­den their pro­fes­sio­nal ho­ri­zons and ac­qui­re va­luable ex­pe­ri­ence ab­road at the same time.

What is the Mo­bi­le Of­fice program?

Our em­ployees can be sent ab­road once a year for th­ree to four weeks to ac­qui­re ex­pe­ri­ence and for­eign lan­guage skills. No lea­ve must be ta­ken for this pur­po­se. We not only ar­ran­ge flights and ac­com­mo­da­ti­on, but also mo­ti­va­te our em­ployees to make the ut­most of their time ab­road. It is up to you whe­ther you want to get ac­quain­ted with the lo­cal cul­tu­re af­ter work or take ad­ven­tur­ous trips at the weekend.

Suc­cessful ex­pe­di­ti­ons to Cape Town and Lisbon

In 2022, the first Mo­bi­le Of­fice ex­pe­di­ti­on took us to Cape Town, South Af­ri­ca. Our em­ployees en­joy­ed the in­cre­di­ble op­por­tu­ni­ty not only to streng­then their pro­fes­sio­nal skills, but also to dis­co­ver the fa­sci­na­ting cul­tu­re and breath­ta­king land­scapes of South Africa.

Lis­bon, Por­tu­gal, was on the pro­gram­me for 2023, and we were de­ligh­ted with an­o­ther suc­cessful trip. Our pro­gram­me par­ti­ci­pan­ts ex­plo­red the char­ming al­ley­ways of the city, im­mer­sed them­sel­ves in its vi­brant histo­ry and in­dul­ged in Portugal’s cu­lina­ry diversity.
